Obd code p0238

Hello friends, I have my file remapped and my car lights engine malfunction light from 3500 rpm. It is possible that is the EGR valve that needs to be cleaned ? Already has 270,000 but was only cleaned once to 150,000 .

Does that cause the car go into safe mode is the EGR ? Suggestions ?
