VW Crafter (Sprinter 906) Dash adaption

Hello everybody.

I have a 2010 VW Crafter here that and the customer wants to swap the instrument cluster.
I have manually transferred the mileage-string in the dump at 0x2A from the original cluster, but the mileage shows ------ in the car. On bench, it shows the correct mileage.
How can i adapt the used cluster to the car? can i set the mileage to 0 Km and try again with ODIS online or i
